Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini was created in 1971 in order to continue the cultural and social initiative of former Minister of Labour Giacomo Brodolini, to whom we owe the approval of Workers' Charter. Labour is always at the core of our activities.
Today, Fondazione Brodolini is an independent centre of cultural development as well as a think tank that proposes and evaluates policies at all levels of governance: local, regional, national, European and international. Understanding the complexity of society means being able to cope with continuous and rapid changes in issues such as: immigration, gender issues, population ageing, job insecurity and development, social inclusion.
Our efforts support institutions in the identification and implementation of concrete and effective actions. By linking institutional needs to our network of experts, we are able to provide adequate tools and use them in various types of activities: among the most important, project development, training, peer reviews, evaluation, organisation of conferences and seminars. Our thematic areas of intervention are: growth and development, human capital and the labour market, transversal priorities and gender mainstreaming, welfare and social policies.
To date, Fondazione Brodolini has established its offices in Rome, Milan, Brussels and Bucharest. For further information: info@fondazionebrodolini.it.
