FGB wins two new international projects
FGB has been awarded, for the second time, of the technical assistance to the Ministry of Labour, Social Services and Family (MoLSSF) of the Republic of Turkey, which is the Managing Autority of the IPA II operational programme Employment Education and Social Policies (EESP SOP). FGB experts and staff will work side by side with the Managing Autority’s staff in charge of the OP implementation, supporting them in the carrying out of their daily tasks.
The purposes of the project are as follows:
- Provide support and assistance to the OS of EESP SOP so that programme is both managed effectively and serves as a valuable preparation for the future management of the ESF.
- Increase the capacity of institutions for policy design, effective use of IPA funds, Acquis alignment and conducting evaluation and thematic monitoring activities.
- Provide assistance in increasing the capacity of potential/actual beneficiaries on project preparation, implementation and management.
- Increase awareness of general public about the opportunities provided by EESP SOP and about its implementations and outcomes.
FGB has been awarded of the second project in the framework of the Gender Advisory Services Framework Programme financed by the EBRD, named ‘Equal Opportunities in Power & Energy, Turkey: OEDAS & OEPSAS’.
Under the framework of the EBRD Gender Advisory Services Programme, FGB will implement a new project ‘Equal Opportunities in Power & Energy, Turkey’ with the client OEDAS & OEPSAS. The objectives of the assignment are to support OEDAS & OEPSAS in strengthening Equal Opportunity (EO) policies and practices with a view to improve career opportunities for women in the company and increase women’s participation in key areas of the workforce.
