Over 12,000 clicks for the FGB report on the Gender Pay Gap
On the occasion of the 'Equal pay day 2018' on 3 November last, the European Commission published the report produced by the Fondazione Brodolini as part of the SAAGE project (Report on gender pay gap in EU countries).
This is a 'mobile' day established by the European Union to mark the moment when every year women symbolically start to stop earning when compared to their colleagues. Just to point out the need for change, the commission has published the new data of the study conducted by the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation on EU countries, which confirm that the first step to take is to focus on laws that facilitate the reconciliation of life and work, allowing fathers to have substantial parental leave, compulsory and paid.
The report, which was also published in the FGB magazine inGenere, was a great success in terms of visibility with a total of about 12,000 readings.
