Collection of good practices on non-monetary measures in the area of Women and Poverty

As part of a long-term gender mainstreaming programme of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), this Project aims at collecting and disseminating effective approaches, tools and good practices of non-monetary measures to combat and reduce poverty and social exclusion, focusing on working-poor and migrant women, with a specific concern on Roma women. This project addresses the main challenges of the gendered effects of poverty and social exclusion, with the aim of developing consistent policies for gender equality and adopting a dual approach (gender mainstreaming and specific action in favour of women) in the broad scope of social and economic sectors (labour market, social security, pension schemes and care for the dependent among others).
