Gender budgeting - Province of Catanzaro

One of the first experiences of gender budgeting within a Southern administration in Italy, the intervention is based on a well-constructed methodology: the gathering of available data at local level and the constitution of a system of indicators gender sensitive; analysis from the income side, the expenses side, and from each legislative measure of the provincial budgeting; analysis of the gender impact in the assistance services (old people and children) and in the transport ones; individualisation of the capacities through which make a lecture of the gender budgeting; training for functionaries; definition of the provincial guide lines, of a plan of diffusion on the entire territory and the beginning of the return to the institutional bodies of the Province (Municipality).
