Framework contract for services relating to the development, management and dissemination of the ESCO (European Skills, Competences and Occupations) classification

The European Commission is developing a multilingual standard terminology and the ESCO classification, with the aim of linking existing national/sectoral taxonomies and contributing to improving needs and skills forecasting as well as better skills and job matching. A common language is necessary to bring together the worlds of education and training, and work, and to bridge the terminological gap that exists between the spheres of education and work. The ESCO classification is planned to be a primary tool for this scope.
