PIC - A price for work-life balance

PIC is a project aimed at implementing, in the area around Naples city, a number of actions and tools to support enterprises in creating and adopting measures and services designed not only for facilitating conciliation between life and work for women, but also for testing its effectiveness. The purpose is to improve the quality of citizens' life and, for this reason, the conciliation does not mean anymore search of solutions for personal needs, but, on the contrary, essiential precondition for improving the quality of life of everyone and for a competitive growth of the territory.The project arises within the initiative "Donne per lo Sviluppo Urbano".

Activities developed within the project:

- mapping of conciliation practices in enterprisesbased in the city of Naples and mapping of the issues that effect the implementation of actions in this field;

- creation of a catalogue of good practices on the issue of reconciliation;

- development of a Service Card to be disseminated to all the actors involved:male and female workers, enterprises, employer associations, trade unions, bilateral associations, the City Council;

- territorial animation on the issue of reconciliation and development of the territory through the organization of seminars and workshops;

- support and counseling service provided to enterprises for the preparation of reconciliation plans;

- creation of a vademecum for conciliation;

- supporting activities for the Business & Conciliation Award with the preparation of a public notice;

- award cerimony for the selected enterprises.
