Economia & Lavoro

Economia & Lavoro is a four-monthly review of economic policy, sociology and industrial relations founded in 1967 by Giacomo Brodolini, devised as an instrument to promote debate between political, social, cultural and economic spheres in the shared pursuit of reform and democratic development. In 1971 Economia & Lavoro became the Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini's official publication. A space in which to continue the thinking of the father of the Workers Statute, for academics it represents a laboratory for the analysis and interpretation of changes in society and the labour market. The review has gained a high scientific profile for its issues, analysis and the stature of its contributors. The review is characterised by its inclusion of different theoretical and cultural trends, a policy born from the conviction that only unprejudiced comparison and continual research into economic and social conditions at both national and international level can effectively promote political-cultural renewal. The interdisciplinary approach adopted gives greater significance to the analysis carried and the review often publishes special numbers. The review is distributed through Italy and abroad and is found in many University and specialist libraries.
