Gender Equality Next, on Reconciliation. Brussels, June 22nd

Three sub issues:

a. Reconciliation when children are small – leave, kindergarten:

b. Reconciliation when children are older (out of school ) etc

c.  Reconciliation when parents are old

Objectives

1. Provide information on needs in relation to reconciliation of work and family life and the types of policy responses to these needs at Member State level.

2. Provide an analysis of the adequacy of policy responses to the different needs for reconciliation of work and family life at Member State level.

3. Explore the policy implications of this situation at European level.
