Protecting migrant workers from exploitation in the EU: workers’ perspectives

The research by the European Union agency for fundamental rights (FRA) published today highlights the urgent need for European governments to step up their efforts to tackle the serious exploitation of labour in businesses, factories and farms across the EU. 

Interviews with hundreds of exploited workers have revealed illegal practices in sectors such as agriculture, construction, domestic work, hospitality, manufacturing and transport.
