Regeneration in urban areas

This project aims at disseminating to European urban practitioners and policy makers at local, regional, national and EU levels integrated and sustainable policies and strategies in European cities. In particular, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini is in charge of implementing, coordinating and disseminating the URBACT workstream “Sustainable regeneration of urban areas”, following the previous workstream “Against Divided Cities in Europe”. The present workstream looks at practices of sustainable regeneration of urban areas with a focus on the environmental dimension of sustainability, in particular low carbon and energy-efficient strategies.
