Thematic Country Reviews on Apprenticeships

This project aims at assisting Cedefop in an interactive and collaborative process with national stakeholders in undertaking in-depth reviews of national developments on apprenticeships in three countries (Greece, Italy and Slovenia). Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini assists Cedefop’s team in the data collection and analysis to identify country-specific solutions and developing recommendations on what and how to improve, based on specific and prioritised national challenges and opportunities. 

At national level, in close cooperation with Cedefop and the national stakeholders, the project carries out in-depth review of apprenticeship in the three countries to identify their specific strengths and challenges and present a set of policy recommendations for ensuring quality apprenticeships.

It also aims at increasing at European level the evidence base which can support policy- and decision-makers in European countries in designing and implementing policies and measures for developing and/or improving quality apprenticeships; and also to support comparison across countries.
