Making skills work index

A workshop to discuss the tool for assessing Member States’ skills formation and matching systems

On the 16th-17th May, the experts’ workshop on Making Skills Work Index will take place in Rome. The aim of the workshop is to bring together a number of methodological and policy experts and research teaam to discuss the Making Skills Work Index regarding both its methodological underpinning and its policy relevance and applications. The Making Skills Work Index is a composite indicator, developed by Cedefop and a team of researchers, aiming to provide a tool for assessing Member States’ skills formation and matching systems. During the workshop the current status of the Making Skills Work Index will be presented and it will set the ground for updating and making the Index an annual benchmark. The workshop is organised within our FGB-lead service contract on developing the Skills Panorama. On behalf of FGB Terence Hogarth, Liga Baltina and Giuseppe Forte will participate to the workshop. The Making Skills Work Index is announced on Cedefop’s Skills Panorama website.
