Cities as Hubs of technological and social innovation for inclusive and sustainable growth
The 8th Knowledge Aperò, the networking event of FGB, is going to take place at our Bussels office (19A Avenue Marnix) on Wednesday 8th of November 2017,from 18.00 to 20.00 hours and the focus of discussion is going to be cities and sustainable growth.
The systemic integration of social, cultural, economic and green innovation in the design, development and governance of cities has tremendous potential to transform social spaces. Such spaces can become diverse, accessible, safe, inclusive and of high quality , in order to increase the well-being and health of the population, as well as delivering a fair and equitable distribution any associated benefits.
Join our knowledge Aperò to discuss with us:
- What benefits can technology bring to cities and their communities, and how can they both exploit and benefit from technological transformation?
- How might technological solutions be tested and scaled in urban contexts in order to inform the better planning and design of cities?
- How can citizens be engaged to play a more active role in the design and governance of urban systems?
