Technical assistance to the Intermediate Body of the City of Florence

The project consists in the provision of specialised support and technical assistance to the Intermediate Body (IB) of the City of Florence, involving activities related to the programming, implementation, document management, legal-technical, and administrative specialisations within the following National Programmes:

• PON Metropolitan Cities 2014-2020.
• PN Metro Plus and Medium-sized Cities in the South 2021-2027.
• POC Metropolitan Cities 2014-2020 – Area IV. 

The main objective of the project will be to ensure the regular, correct, and timely fulfillment of tasks related to the implementation of the PN Metro/POC Metro (currently in progress) and the financial closure of the PON Metro. This aligns with the broader goal of fostering sustainable development in the metropolitan area of Florence, following the threefold paradigm of green transition, digital transformation, and resilience, as envisioned by the 2021-2027 European Cohesion Policy.

Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini will contribute to achieving the set objectives by involving specialised professionals and developing specific activities related to the aforementioned National Programmes.

Project's outputs:

• PON Metro: programme implementation; financial closure procedures.
• POC Metro: transition of operations from PON Metro; programme implementation.
• PN Metro Plus: development of an Operational Plan; establishment and activation of Governance; programme implementation.
