EURES – Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) is a project funded by the European Commission through the Employment and Social Innovation Programme (EaSI), which promotes professional mobility within another Member State of the European Union, as well as in Norway and Iceland.
EURES TMS enables workers, jobseekers, and candidates to exercise their right to free movement within the EU and employers to identify the professional profiles they need. Moreover, the project aims to address the needs of the European labour market and to reduce its imbalances.
Specifically, the initiative combines recruitment, training, and placement services, along with financial support, for citizens or residents of EU Member States, Norway, and Iceland who wish to undertake a job, apprenticeship, or internship experience in another EU country. At the same time, the project supports businesses and organisations interested in finding suitable candidates for their operations.
Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini has been involved in EURES labour mobility projects since 2017, as a co-applicant of the European Solidarity Corps: occupational strand (from 2017 to 2019), in YfEj 6.0 and EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS). FGB has been and continues to be responsible for coordination and management support, monitoring, dissemination, and communication activities.
