The project involves strategic evaluation and foresight activities to support the alignment of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) with EU policies and fundamental rights issues. It includes desk reviews, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
The assessment focuses on evaluating the implementation of FRA's Strategic Plan 2023-2028, identifying areas for adjustment, and ensuring its continued relevance in safeguarding fundamental rights amid evolving challenges.
It will examine the plan's alignment with emerging trends such as rapid digitalisation, artificial intelligence, data privacy, climate crises, and geopolitical instability. The study will adopt a forward-looking dimension, aimed at stress-testing the relevance of FRA's Strategy for the future.
FGB will act as project coordinator and will be involved in all phases, with particular emphasis on foresight activities and stakeholder engagement.
