Labour receives Class A recognition from ANVUR

Labour, the quarterly journal on labour economics and industrial relations published by Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini in collaboration with the Centre for Economic and International Studies (CEIS) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, has been awarded the Class A classification by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR). The recognition applies to the academic fields 13/A1 - Political Economy, 13/A2 - Economic Policy, 13/A3 - Public Finance, 13/A4 - Applied Economics, and 13/A5 - Econometrics.

Published in English by Wiley-Blackwell (Oxford), Labour has earned a strong international reputation for the quality of its scholarly contributions and the calibre of its authors. The journal plays a vital role in advancing the understanding of contemporary economic transformations across societies.

Since 1987, Labour has stood out for its deliberately interdisciplinary approach, combining economic and legal perspectives to explore labour markets and industrial relations on both national and international scales. This methodological choice has proven highly effective in fostering the development of innovative analytical models that help interpret, explain, and address the inefficiencies affecting global labour markets.

The recognition awarded to Labour follows the one recently granted by ANVUR to Economia & Lavoro, FGB's four-monthly journal of economic policy, sociology, and industrial relations published by Carocci Editore. Together, these recognitions confirm the scientific quality of the academic journals curated by Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini.
