VdA Connexion is a project designed to stimulate, nurture, and strengthen interest and passion for technology and innovation among younger generations in the Valle d’Aosta region. This is achieved through both formal and informal community building and community engagement activities.

The main objective of the project is to foster long-term awareness and understanding of emerging technologies through the creation and development of a local Tech Community. It will revolve around a dedicated physical space, and will be conceived to encourage learning, social interaction, and the exchange of knowledge and skills.

The project is structured around two core components:

  • Winter Tech Fest: a multi-panel event that serves as both an outreach and networking occasion, and as a catalyst for the community’s future initiatives.

  • Hands-on workshops: practical labs introducing participants to STEM subjects and new technologies.

These two pillars are complemented by regular meetups at the Tech Space, hosted at the Aosta branch of the Pépinières d’Entreprises.

Through this blend of activities, the project aims to consolidate and empower the Valle d’Aosta Tech Community over the medium term.

As lead partner of the project, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini is responsible for all project activities, organising both events and workshops on a weekly basis at the Tech Space in Aosta.
