Industrial relations beyond the European Union

The aim of the project is to investigate industrial relations systems in a worldwide perspective, comparing EU models and procedures with on-going developments outside Europe. Five country profiles (for USA, China, India, Brazil and Japan) as well as an orientation paper will be produced.

In particular, Eurofound will be provided assistance in the identification of key issues in the comparison of industrial relations at a global level, through the adoption of methods and tools suitable to investigate industrial relation systems beyond Europe and their interrelations. Finally, the most relevant research institutes and the most important surveys covering employment relations issues will be indicated.
