Consultancy services on violence against women and gender equality - Ref. n. 2023AO68

Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini S.r.l. SB has been selected by the Council of Europe for the provision of consultancy services in the area of violence against women and gender equality.

Within the context of its co-operation activities, the Council of Europe provides targeted support to member states and neighbouring countries, based on its international best practices and conventions. In particular, such cooperation activities serve as a tool for paving the way towards the signature and ratification of the Istanbul Convention, and to enhance compliance with its standards.

The Gender Equality Strategy 2024-2029 will build upon the vast legal and policy acquis of the Council of Europe as regards gender equality. According to the Organisation, there is a strong need to invest in countering disinformation and anti-gender narratives, by combining evidence from data and studies with factual messages and positive examples, in order to describe how to implement Council of Europe's standards on gender equality and women’s rights, as well as how the Istanbul Convention is able to improve the lives of all women, men, girls and boys.

The Strategy is based on a dual approach, combining specific actions for the promotion of women's rights and gender mainstreaming. All Council of Europe's sectors are encouraged to mainstream a gender equality perspective in their activities.

Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini S.r.l. SB will participate in three different lots:

• lot 1, focused on training on gender mainstreaming, gender equality and women's rights, violence against women and women’s access to justice;
• lot 3, aimed to experts on violence against women in the fields of technology and AI;
• lot 8, concerning experts in data collection on gender equality and women's access to justice and violence against women.
