Apprenticeship for all: benefits for businesses and individuals

The Giacomo Brodolini Foundation organizes the conference "Apprenticeship for all: benefits for businesses and individuals" during which the results of the study "Apprenticeship in Italy - A convenient model for businesses?" based on a model developed in Switzerland and applied in Spain, England and, for the first time, Italy, will be presented. The study focuses on the following sectors: catering and hospitality, construction, information and communication technologies, metallurgy and machinery manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, monetary intermediation services.

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion on the present and future of apprenticeship. The conference will be attended by representatives of employers' organizations, companies, training institutions, recruitment agencies, institutional stakeholders of national and regional importance involved in the implementation of the apprenticeship. The Giacomo Brodolini Foundation is the Italian antenna of the research commissioned by the Bertelsmann Foundation and the JP Morgan Foundation. The research coordinators are Prof. Stefan C. Wolter from the University of Bern and Prof. Samuel Mühlemann from the LMU in Munich.
