Entrepreneurship competence in VET: evidences from Latvia and Italy

Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini was commissioned to lead Cedefop’s study on entrepreneurship competence in Vocational Education and Training (VET). The main purpose of the study is to better understand how entrepreneurship competences are embedded in VET across Europe.

The research, led by FGB expert Liga Baltina, involves identifying challenges and opportunities and gauging how these vary across different countries. The study covers eight countries: Latvia, Italy, Spain, Austria, Finland, France, Sweden and Croatia. It looks at how and to what extent the dimensions of entrepreneurial learning ecosystems facilitate the aquistion of entrepreneurship competences through VET.

In doing so, it identifies the policies, methods, tools and approaches that best support embedding entrepreneurship competence within VET.

Two first country reports have been published for Latvia and Italy and six more country reports will be published within the next six months.
