Gender perspective in research: innovation and cooperation
Knowledge Aperò, an afterwork informal gathering for sharing discussion and wine
The next Knowledge Aperò event will be held at our office in Rome (via Solferino 32 00185), on Monday 20 February 2017 18.00 hours and its focus will be "Gender perspective in research: innovation and cooperation".
The event will be the occasion to discuss in an transnational environment the impact of the introduction of a gender perspective in research in terms of Responsible Research Innovation and will show how innovative tools as Genport - the gateway to science and gender resources can be a concrete supporting tool for the international scientific community. The discussion will move from the recently published monitoring report on H2020 program implementation, enlightening the increasing interest of successful proposals for the gender dimension in research, and will show how being part of a knowledge sharing community on gender resources can foster the implementation of this perspective.
Barbara De Micheli, Fundamental Rights, Gender Equality, Diversity & Inclusion manager at FGB, will introduce and moderate the event. There will be a brief presentation from Jorg Muller - Genport project coordinator and senior researcher at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, followed by questions and discussion. Genport EU partners will be present at the event and available to share their own experiences.
