How to harness funding for Upskilling Pathways

The contribution of the ESF, presentation of FGB research at restricted seminar

On April 13 Costanza Pagnini will be participating at a panel discussion on How to harness funding for Upskilling Pathways within the framework a restricted mutual learning seminar organised by the European Commission – DG Employment. The aim of the workshop is to provide support to Member States in taking the necessary steps to implementing Upskilling Pathways, as foreseen by the New Skills Agenda launched by the European Commission in 2016. These pathways shall be implemented in all Member States and are aimed at helping low skilled adults acquire a minimum level of literacy, numeracy and digital skills and/or acquire a broader set of skills by progressing towards an upper secondary qualification or equivalent. Costanza will be presenting some of the key findings emerged from the report on the contribution of the European Social Fund to the New Skill Agenda drafted by Fondazione G. Brodolini as part of its monitoring activities of the ESF in the EU28. Details can be found here
