Presentation: the ESF contribution to Social Innovation

A study by FGB

On Wednesday 11 April Costanza Pagnini will make a presentation of the thematic report prepared by FGB on the contribution of the European Social Fund to Social Innovation. The study will be presented at the European Commission, during the ESF Evaluation Partnership Meeting to EU Member States representatives. It examines the contribution of the ESF to Social Innovation, with a view to providing recommendations for the current and future programming period, based on a screening of all ESF Operational Programmes and Implementation Reports. The screening is organised according to an original conceptual model for analysis of Social innovation specifically developed by FGB and collected feedback received from several interviews and country level case studies (Belgium/Flanders, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Sweden).
