Implementation of the Survey on Vocational Training Offer in Italy
Partners: TP Infinity, Fondazione Censis
The Support for the implementation of the Survey on Vocational Training Offer in Italy envisages a series of qualitative and quantitative surveys and analyses, aimed at reconstructing the framework of vocational training activities in Italy and the state of the art of policies and financing systems for continuing vocational education and training (CVET) and adult learning.
The purpose of the research is to study the transformation of training structures, considering the impact produced by the pandemic crisis and the regulatory and directive instances coming from the different actors (community, national and local) which regulate, structure and finance the market of training supply at different levels. The objective is, then, to analyse the supply of CVET and adult learning by outlining the strategies underlying the issuance of public calls and notices. The ultimate goal is thus to identify investment trajectories in the short term, and to reflect on the most targeted skills for training interventions.
Furthermore, elements of current debate and strategies regarding the issue of adult skills development will be identified, and policy models of publicly and privately-funded CVET and adult learning in Italy will be presented. Finally, the project will include an analysis of the impact of funding systems and the development of an analysis model.
In addition to coordinating all project activities, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini will be directly responsible for Line 2 and cross-cutting activities. In particular, FGB will be on charge of mapping public calls and notices through which active policy instruments in the field of CVET and adult learning are implemented; carrying out the study on the actors of CVET and adult learning; developing the analysis of publicly and privately funded CVET and adult learning policy models in Italy, with the consequent construction of a model of spillover analysis.
FGB is also in charge of drafting the following reports: Analysis of the Programming and Implementation of CVET in Italy from 2016 and to 2026, Study on the Actors of CVET and Adult Learning and Analysis of the Effectiveness and Impact of CVET and Adult Learning Policies and Financing Systems in Italy.
