FARMER, reimagining future agri-tech skills in the Western Balkans
Over the next three years, Fondazione Brodolini will help strengthen the responsiveness of vocational education and training (VET) systems in the agri-food sector across the Western Balkans by coordinating the project FARMER: Future Agri-Tech Reskilling and Modern Education Reimagining. Funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the project will be officially launched at a kick-off meeting on 10 February 2026.
By bringing together partners from Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro, FARMER aims to respond to the growing demand for digital, technological, and green skills in the Western Balkans by reinforcing the capacities of VET providers and promoting closer links with the labour market.
A core focus of the project will be strengthening the role of VET teachers and schools in shaping relevant learning outcomes, by equipping educators with knowledge and tools to lead curriculum alignment.
As coordinator, FGB supports collaboration among partners, facilitating the exchange of good practices from Italy and across the EU, and ensuring that project activities and results are shared widely with stakeholders at both regional and European level.
