Marta Capesciotti

Marta graduated in international cooperation and development at the “Sapienza” University of Rome; she holds a PhD in Law and Economics at the “Sapienza” University of Rome and in Constitutional Law at the University of Granada with a research on the right to housing and social housing of third-country citizens living in Italy and Spain. Her research expertise is fundamental rights, non-discrimination legislation, protection of crime victims, gender equality, migration policies and rights of persons with disabilities mainly aimed at coordinating and implementing reporting activities and fieldwork researches for the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) of the European Union. She's the author of the FRA Annual Report on Fundamental Rights (editions 2016-2021) and of the FRA reports on the migratory situation in Italy since 2015.
