The project aims to support the education system in keeping pace with changes in the labour market. In particular, it seeks to provide upper secondary school students with tools to understand the profound transformations driven by the increasing use of artificial intelligence. These changes affect not only emerging professions, but also more established ones, reshaping required skills and influencing career pathways.

In this context, career guidance plays a central role. Supporting students in navigating the complexity of the present and making informed choices in line with ongoing developments is now a key responsibility of the education system. From this perspective, the project aims to strengthen career guidance activities in upper secondary schools by enhancing the role of teachers in designing learning and guidance pathways that are closely aligned with current trends and future prospects.

As project lead, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini (FGB) participates in and coordinates all project activities. In particular, FGB organises an online training course (webinar) for teachers at upper secondary schools, aimed at providing up-to-date knowledge on AI and its applications in education.

FGB also conducts a workshop on the professions of the future for students of the two partner institutions. The workshop consists of an intensive, experiential orientation and training programme designed to explore future scenarios in the labour market related to AI and emerging skills linked to the social, economic, and environmental challenges raised by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
