Analysis - Monitoring and assessment of the Province of Grosseto training offer, 2007-2013

The aim of this project is to carry out an independent (operational and strategic) evaluation of vocational training policies promoted by the provincial administation of Grosseto, in the region of Tuscany, over the years 2007-2013. These measures are mostly financed by ESF resources. The study will focus on measuresimplementedin response to the economic downturn;supporting youth employment; in support to local development; and promoting enterprisedevelopment. Different methodologieswill be applied such as statistical analysis of monitoring and administrative data; surveys; interviews, etc.; these will ultimately lead to an overall evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the initiatives promoted by the Province with a view to increase the employability of workers, while identifying best practices. The project will also evaluate the effectiveness of the communication plan (analyzing the degree of visibility and citizens' awareness about the role played by the EU and by the ESF in the province).
