Economic crisis, new poverties and inclusion policies

The project aims at analysing the effects generated by the economic crisis on the labour market as well as on the welfare distribution in Puglia, by identifying figures and features of new poverties and social marginalities. Furthermore, the project is meant to contribute to honing programming actions of measures in support of the brackets of the population most exposed to new poverties and risks of social marginality linked to the economic as well as the labour market crisis. This is achieved through the evaluation of the economic sustainability, effectiveness and equity of measures. All interventions are carried out as actions in support of the activities of the Region’s Welfare Department with the Regional Observatory for Social Policies.
