EU Post Lab: Developing experiences of administrative cooperation and enhanced access to information in the framework of the posting of workers
Stemming from the experience of the Post-Lab project, EU Post Lab envisages activities of cooperation, information exchange and awareness raising the field of posting of workers in the construction sector.
The project activities address 10 EU countries plus Turkey, involving social partners, paritarian institutions, research centres and universities. Partners are to identify and analyse national administrative databases potentially useful to ascertain whether transnational posting of workers is in compliance with relevant law provisions. The key features of these databases, their actual use by public authorities and complementary information on wage entitlements and forms of non-compliance and undeclared work in the covered countries are addressed in the project Preliminary and Assessment Reports.
This analysis, integrated by a field research, is used to elaborate possible pathways leading to improved efficacy of inspections and to setup a prototype transnational database, aimed at simplifying data sharing between competent authorities and at speeding up procedures for posting workers abroad.
The results are promoted by means of a final report and of recommendations in all project languages.
