Evaluating active ageing policies in Italy: an innovative methodological framework

The project aimed at defining and testing an ad hoc methodology to assess the achievement of the objectives of the European Employment Strategy (EES) about active ageing. The project was developed in three phases. In the first phase, active ageing policies in Italy were reviewed, and active projects at the regional level were mapped. In the second phase, the model was defined for an integrated approach to the evaluation of active ageing policies. In the third phase, the methodology was applied to three case studies: Campania, Marche and Liguria.
