GALCA – Gender analyses and long-term care assistance

The project identified types of long-term care services on the basis of the interdependence between financing and typology of care. The long-term care for the elderly is an outstanding aspect in conciliating professional and personal life. In particular, women play a double role, both in unpaid family care and as workers in caring occupations.
