Gender budgeting in Europe

The research was based on an analysis of the national context of equal opportunities, in terms of legislation in the five ountries involved – Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria and Austria – with a glance at gender budgeting and its practical application, especially at local level. Methodologically, a system of gender-sensitive indicators was proposed, and the analysis of gender impact in some key areas of local administration was deepened.
