Gender Equality Index in the European Union member states

The purpose of the framework contract Gender Equality Index in the EU member states: policy context and statistical analysis is to provide technical support to the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in producing advanced statistical analysis of the Gender Equality Index in a broad context of the economic, social and policy development at the EU level. 

The overall objective of the support service will be to contribute to a stronger evidence-based policy-making in the EU and its member states in the area of gender equality, by providing evidence on the major achievements and setbacks as measured by the Gender Equality Index.

The assignment will therefore support the monitoring of gender equality in the EU and across member states by producing advanced statistical analysis of the Gender Equality Index.
