GENIS LAB – The Gender in Science and Technology Lab

The GENIS-LAB project aims to implement structural changes in the work organisation within a group of selected scientific organisations in order to overcome the factors that limit the participation of women in research. The project relies on the synergy among the seven scientific project partners,  and technical partners providing and sharing innovative tools and methodologies for gender mainstreaming in science. The project envisages the implementation of some common actions: gender audit, budget analysis and exchange of good practices aiming to fight against gender discrimination.

GENIS-LAB operates on three levels:

• Organisational level
• Social/environmental level
• Transnational European level (promotion of networking/mutual learning among involved scientific organisations to support the exchange of experiences, practices and efficient management tools)
