The research study aims at investigating what intergenerational learning processes and age management policies for the training of workers are implemented by the Italian private companies and public administrations. The study will also address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and technological innovation on the intergenerational learning processes and age management policies, focusing, in particular, on the effects generated on workers older than 55.

Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini will coordinate the research team that will conduct field research activities and desk research. In particular, we will carry out in-depth interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders, such as national and international experts, business consultants, professionals in human resource management, managers, and younger and older workers.

The research team will also develop 12 case studies on public or private organisations that are implementing training strategies that are relevant in terms of age management and intergenerational learning.
