Newspapers and journals in Lazio from 1927 to 1944

The research aimed at mapping the majority of newspapers and journals of political, cultural and historical relevance that were published in the time span stretching from 1927, one year after the approval of the special laws on press, to the end of the Second World War (1945). Periodical press is one of the most important sources that are available to historically reconstruct that period; in particular, the project recovered evidences of political and cultural life in Lazio that are rarely studied and less and less available.
