The project analyses a period of time - from 2009 to 2015- that saw radical changes in labour rights and regulation of work contracts with the aim of providing an overview on flexible work from an interdisciplinary point of view.

The project foresees:

  • a preliminary analysis of the legislative framework of flexibility in Italy (phase 1) and of pays earned by flexible workers (phase 2);
  • the preparation of a survey (phase 3) and it's conduct to a sample of flexible workers  (phase 4);
  • a final report and it's presentation in a final conference (phase 5).

The research is associated to the analysis of the legal framework and laws, the economic and sociological dimensions of flexible work through a desk and field research.
