Romanian labour market answer to the economic crisis: increased flexibility and adaptability of the enterprises and consolidation of the workforce

Starting from an analysis of the Romanian labour market, the project focused on the development of policy proposals for  the improvement of workers’ adaptability and flexibility. Moreover, through two pilot projects the study tested the possible impact of their effects on the Romanian labour market.

Specifically, the activities of the projects included:

• Study on the integration of flexicurity components into labour market policies
• Analysis of ESF contribution to the  consolidation of workers adaptability and flexibility
• Identification of European good practices
• CATI surveys
• Two pilot projects in representative enterprises aiming at improving their internal flexibility
