Since early 2019, FGB is part of the consortium providing technical assistance to the PES Network for their benchlearning activities. The PES Network (European Network of Public Employment Services) works closely with the European Commission – DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion to implement a series of benchmarking and mutual learning (benchlearning) activities for its members all around Europe. The benchlearning activities started already in 2015 and is seen by PES as highly successful, stimulating constant collaboration and knowledge-sharing between actors. This led the activities to be extended until 2022. In the framework of this project, FGB provides technical support in the organisation of mutual learning events such as the annual conference and thematic webinars and workshops, as well as the development of a thematic practitioners’ toolkit every year. FGB is also in charge of the organisation of study visits and Mutual Assistance Projects (MAPs), tailored 12-months support activities to address specific needs of requesting PES. The Foundation is also charged with the management of all online communication tools of the PES Network, including collaborative platforms and document repositories, as well as of the external communication of all Network activities.
