The study, Understanding the socio-economic position of women of African, Middle-Eastern, Latin-American and Asian descent in the EU, has been commissioned by the Policy department for citizens’ rights and constitutional affairs of the European Parliament upon request of the FEMM Committee on women's rights and gender equality.

The document provides an overview of the social context and level of integration of second and third-generation migrant women.

Fondazione Brodolini realised the study analysing the topic through specific indicators, namely: residential conditions, family patterns, integration within the labour-market and health condition.
