Spazio Sviluppo Montopoli – Work, care, community and services is a multifunctional territorial hub dedicated to employment guidance, self-employment, social inclusion and territorial innovation in the Municipality of Montopoli di Sabina, in the province of Rieti.
Funded by the Lazio Region through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021-2027 Programme (Call for Proposals "Spazio Sviluppo"), the project was created to address the social and employment-related vulnerabilities affecting the area through integrated, community-based services targeting young people, NEETs, women with care responsibilities, unemployed people, over-50s, self-employed workers and vulnerable groups.
Activities include employment and self-employment help desks, coworking spaces, digital facilitation services, socio-health support, work-life balance services, local tourism promotion, and territorial and entrepreneurial activation pathways.
The project aims to strengthen employability and social inclusion in the inland areas of Lazio by tackling youth unemployment, social isolation and the digital divide.
The main objectives are:
- promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment;
- facilitating access to public and digital services;
- supporting work-life balance;
- fostering territorial networks among citizens, businesses and institutions;
- enhancing local cultural and tourism resources;
- developing a replicable model of territorial welfare and social innovation.
As an operational partner of the project, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini ETS is responsible for the design and management of several activities, including: the self-employment and autonomous work help desk; coworking services; territorial and digital facilitation; the tourism info-point and the "Montopoli Lavora" job board; the "Enterprise and Territory" pathways; community engagement and territorial networking actions.
FGB also contributes to the development of innovative methodologies for inclusion, empowerment and local development.
