Strengthening the capacity of public employment offices to satisfy employment, training and vocational needs of older workers

Period

Two lines of action were identified. Firstly, core actions targeted to over 45 that are unemployed or inactive, or want to change job: tailored information, advice and guidance to help beneficiaries reconsider their situation and identify alternative paths through the creation of a CV and the development of job seeking skills, advice on self-employment, voluntary work, etc. Secondly, system actions targeted to municipality actors in charge of active labour market policies and COL network: set-up of a register of end users, contribution to the policy cycle in providing feedback and advice on the definition of training policies and measures, proposal of a methodological framework for the provision of targeted services.
