Study on gender discrimination in access to education: evaluation of the need for and effectiveness of current measures in the Member States

The aim of this study is to provide the European Commission with independent information on the extent of sex discrimination in accessing mandatory education in EU Member States. Furthermore, the research mapped existing measures taken by Member States to tackle sex discrimination, and evaluated their effectiveness.
