Subcontract Agreement- Service contract from the European Trade Union Confederation for the research project "Improving social partners involvement in EU support for public investments in training and education"

The project aims at mapping funding opportunities for education and training at the European and national levels, and to assess the role of social partners in the governance and use of these funds.

In particular, the first phase addresses the current state of EU funding and investments allocated to public provided training and education as well as the role of social partners in decision making.

The second phase investigates the national and local levels, exploring how EU funds are invested and the role of social partners in investment decisions.

The project combines desk research with country visits and a survey targeting social partners to deliver two studies describing findings at the different explored levels and a final report including policy recommendations.

Results and recommendations are promoted and discussed also by means of a EU level conference.

FGB supports scientific coordination of the research and contributes to the implementation of all the research phases.
