Technical Assistance for Promoting Gender Equality in Education

The overall objective of the Promoting Gender Equality in Education Project is to contribute to promoting gender equality all throughout the society. As an innovative project that deals with education and gender issues in such a comprehensive way by involving various stakeholders would be the first example of its kind.

The Project aims at training of all teaching and administrative personnel at all levels of education in gender-sensitive approach, equality between men and women and awareness raising of parents on gender equality. The main target groups are: Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Ministry of National Education (MoNE): teachers, school administrators, inspectors, counselling services, staff, pupils (pre-school, primary school and secondary school), educational policy makers, NGOs/CSOs involved in education and gender issues, parents.
