The future of the energy sector in Egypt, new ETF study

The future skill needs in the Egyptian energy sector is the new country report published by the European Training Foundation (ETF) as part of the sector studies conducted by Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini and Erre Quadro for ETF, aimed at understanding how technological and non-technological factors are influencing occupations and skill needs in various countries.

The case study on Egypt focuses on future skill needs in the energy sector, whose role is crucial within the country's economy.

Combining traditional research methods alongside innovative big data mining to identify emerging skills needs, the research provides qualitative data on the changing skills landscape within the energy sector, while offering insight on how companies are adjusting to these changes.

The evidence gathered is intended to foster reform employment policies in the energy sector, as well as a better alignment with energy-related skill supply in Egypt.
